Things start to move
The news: Last month I have been giving the guys on "Maximus" a hand.
I supplied them with crew during the seatrials while tuning the rigg in Genoa. Unfortunately there are no full time positions open at the moment, but I earned a place on the bow for the next race, Newport - Bermuda. Later on I will also deliver the boat back to the Med. Maybe there is even a possibility to break the 24h record!
This month has been quite workwise, but I have been enjoying some citytrips with my girlfriend here in Italy, something pretty valuable as a sailor. The last weeks I have been preparing the upcoming raceseason with going to the gym, cycling, running and rowing. Eat, sleep, train and gain!
I found a job as bowman on "Capricorno", a 80ft ILC Maxi, ex "Morning Glory". This weekend we have our last training, than 2 races: Trofeo Pirelli and Trofeo Zegna, beginning of may. End of may I fly to Newport to sail "Maximus".
Today I went to the North Sails loft in Carasco to see if they have some daywork in between the races. They seemed pretty interested.
Monday I'll go talk with a company who might want a website for there project.
