Preparation for Middle Sea Race in Malta

Long days preparing "Pasaya" for Middle Sea Race I Arrived day before yesterday now and from then have been preparing the boat.

Yesterday when going through the safety checklist I realized we would have to work hard to get the boat on the start line. After I made and inventory of all the things missing and a few safety talks with the owner, today we are almost ready.
There is still a decent TO DO list and we really need to go out tomorrow to check the sails and the rigg. Than there is customs and provisioning. Briefings, meetings and paperwork. Makes me almost forget that tomorrow night is the famous crewparty..

In the afternoon 2 more crew will arrive, we are with 4 now. Friday we will be total with 9 people. I will also go and check out if their is a way to report positions from my website or Google Earth. I doubt if I will find the time though. When traveling I was looking into a function to publish to my website by email and geo tag the post with coordinates, but I haven't made it.
Anyway whenever there will be mobile phone range I will publish a small report with my Sony Ericsson. Positions can be found on the Middle Sea Race website

I have also bookmarked some URL's for the gribfiles on my phone:
http://www.navcenter.com/grb/Mediterranean.grb.bz2 http://gribs.ocens.net/Mediterranean.wind.grb.bz2 http://www.raymarine.com/raymarine/grib3day/Mediterranean.grb

That's it for now folks.
