Middle Sea Race confirmed
I just got my confirmation email for Rolex Middle Sea Race
The 45ft boat is the first Sleeker design, inspired by seaplanes from the 30's. She's got an aluminum hull, carbon rigg and a North 3DL race set. The owner is Thai and her name "Pasaya" means something like maitresse if I can remember. I dayworked a few days in the spring to step the rigg in La Spezia. Very nice interior and the navstation comes with a lot of toys to play with.
Last summer they did Rolex Giraglia and the designer told me the boat showed of superior performances, especially upwind. For more information visite the website: sleekerboats.com
Tomorrow I fly to Belgium with my girlfriend for a family visit and 15 october I return to Italia to get my racing gear and fly to Malta.
I am looking forward to sail this race with her Thai crew.
