Job interview in Lavagna
Tomorrow I have a job interview on "Il Moro di Venezia" in the port of Lavagna. A while ago I was tipped that current skipper Carlo is looking for a replacer and already had a few chats with him with a visit on the boat.
The yacht is build in 1976. Being the first one (I) in the "Moro di Venezia" history, she is of special value. Although you can't notice from the outside she is build in wood and just spend 2 years in the shipyard for a complete refit.
The owner has a house in Portofino and uses his yacht for weekends and cruises in the Mediterranean in the summer. From the spring she will be moored in Portofino, just next door to where I live.
What's interesting is that while this is a regular job, there is still the opportunity to do my races.
I start a trial period working on the boat begin january.
